The Bedrock50 is an ultra distance run close to Christchurch, new Zealand held on the 25th February 2012 . The 53KM scenic route takes in the very popular Wharfedale and Blowhard tracks and passes through the stunning Lees Valley. Get amongst it!
Before attempting to run this extremely difficult 53km running race we highly recommend you get a personalised training program from a certified personal trainer. Look for a fitness trainer that specialises in running and has undergone courses with a PT certification course provider that offers specialised running programs.
Most participants that complete the Bedrock challenge have attended kettlebell courses to help them train.
Levels 1 kettlebell certification will teach you the fundamentals of kettlebell training.
